The Chabad Center of Northwest NJ celebrated its 33rd year anniversary at its Founders Dinner at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston on June 23. The guests of honor were Jared Hutter, principal at Aptitude Development, who received the Builder of Goodness award, Judson Kleinman, CEO of Corporate Essentials, who was given the Pillar of Kindness award; and Marlene Diamond, who was honored with the Community Service award.
The dinner theme was “Celebrating 33 Years of Revealing Good.” Rabbi Asher Herson, the Chabad Center’s regional director, said, “From a small nucleus of pioneers who engineered community activities around a living room table, we have grown into a full scale community foundation with seven regional centers geared to serving communities throughout Northwest New Jersey. The successes we have been blessed with are a direct result of the selfless efforts of outstanding individuals who have made the expansion of our educational and charitable activities an absolute priority in their lives. Our distinguished honorees embody leadership in this vein to the utmost. This is what made the dinner event so inspiring and refreshing – it’s authenticity.”
