Chabad gala to celebrate 20-year milestone
Chabad of SE Morris County in Madison hosts a milestone gala celebrating 20 years of service to the community on May 23 at 6 p.m. at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park.
Guests of honor are Gail Lobel, the Woman of Valor awardee, Jennifer and Ian Josloff, the Pillars of Kindness awardees, Jeffrey Greenberg, the Man of the Year, and Teen Visionary awards recipients Annabel Simon, Coco Simon, and Henry Smith. All will be honored in appreciation of their support to Chabad and the entire community.
“This is indeed a significant milestone for us and for the many that have been touched by the presence of our Chabad, and the good work we do throughout the community,” Rabbi Shalom Lubin said. Rabbi Lubin and his wife, Aharaona, founded the Chabad group in 2002. “Chabad has joyfully enriched our community in so many ways and has provided a wide range of activities and support to young children, teens, isolated seniors, and men and women from all walks of life. Our worthy honorees have been supportive of our work for many years, and I am thrilled to give them the honor and recognition they so richly deserve.”
Gala proceeds will fund Chabad’s Caring for the Elderly initiative and Weekly Thankful Thursdays soup distribution. For information on tickets and tribute ads, call (973) 377- 0707 or go to www.ChabadCares.com/Gala.
