Chabad tour makes local stops
Chabad on Campus launched its national “Let Here Be Light” tour; its goal is to visit more than 45 campuses across the United States and Canada in September. The festival is designed to give Jewish students a warm welcome and empower them to celebrate their heritage.
Local stops included the College of New Jersey and Columbia University. It included interactive booths showcasing Jewish heritage, performances and events to entertain students, kosher food, and participation from local dignitaries and leaders. More than 8,000 students are expected to participate.
