Charles Lubetkin
Charles Arthur Lubetkin of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Nov. 24, 2019. He grew up in Newark and was formerly of Springfield.
Mr. Lubetkin was an educator in the Union school system for over 30 years. He was also an accomplished guitarist who worked professionally and a lyricist for many published pieces of music.
He attended Weequahic High School in Newark and was a graduate of Montclair State Teachers College.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rhoda; his son, David (Robin) Lubetkin; his daughter, Adina Lubetkin; two grandchildren; and a step-grandson.
Services were held Nov. 26 in New Jersey.
