Charlotte Gross

Charlotte E. Gross (Edelstein), 80, of South Orange died July 22, 2015. Born in White Plains, NY, she also maintained a weekend home in the Berkshires (Massachusetts) for more than 40 years.

Mrs. Gross was a real estate salesperson for Sheldon Gross Realty of West Orange and the Berkshires. 

She earned her BA degree from Cornell University. 

She volunteered with the New Jersey Philharmonic Orchestra, Special Olympics, The Bach Society of the Berkshires, and the Women’s Group of Temple Israel (now Sharey Tefilo-Israel) of South Orange.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sheldon; her son, Jon; her daughter, Marcy Gross Glick; two stepdaughters, Barbara Gross (Michael) Franklin and Jackie Gross (Stuart) Siris; a brother, Mike Edelstein; and five grandchildren. 

Services were held July 24 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Adam Goodkind NF2 Family Fund at the Children’s Tumor Foundation (grow.ctf.org/familyfund).
