Daniel Goodman
Daniel Goodman of Livingston died July 20, 2015. He was born in Thompsonville, Conn.
A certified public accountant for many years, Mr. Goodman maintained an office in Livingston.
He earned his BBA from City College of New York and an MBA from New York University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, with a major in taxation.
A veteran of World War II, he was stationed in Ipswich, England, for the duration of the war.
He was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston and served as treasurer of the Livingston Lodge of B’nai B’rith from 1977 to 1979. As a member of Jewish War Veterans Livingston Post 740, he took part in fund-raising activities. He also served as a volunteer ESL tutor.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Robert and Harold; three daughters, Karen Lautman, Susan Teicher, and Nancy Goodman; and five grandchildren.
Services were held July 23 in Norwalk, Conn.
