David Greene
David L. Greene, 91, of Oakhurst died March 18, 2015. He was born in Sharon, Pa., and settled in Monmouth County while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, stationed at Fort Monmouth.
Mr. Greene was a trial attorney who shared a law firm for 25 years with his daughter Jill in Avon-by-the-Sea.
He attended the University of Alabama and went on to study at Rutgers Law School in Newark, passing the bar prior to his graduation in 1949.
Predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Ruth, in 2006, he is survived by two daughters, Jill and Janet Lynne, and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 20 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
