David H. Katz, 74, of Monroe Township died June 10, 2011. Born in the Bronx, he lived in Queens and Valley Stream, NY, for 31 years before moving to Monroe 12 years ago.
Dr. Katz ran his own dental practice in Queens before retiring in 1998.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as a dentist at Fort Polk, La., from 1963 to 1965.
He was a member of Congregation Beit Shalom, Monroe.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Felicia Weinberger Katz; two sons, Irvin of Hopewell and Alan of Morganville; his daughter, Janice; a brother, William of Englewood; and three grandchildren.
Services were held June 13 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, New York.
