David Levine

David Levine, 88, of Highland Beach, Fla., died May 21, 2012. He previously had lived in Highland Park and East Brunswick before moving to Highland Beach eight years ago.

Mr. Levine was the owner of Lake-Vu Day Camp.

He received a BA from Rutgers University.

He was a past president of Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey and was a member of Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth, the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County, and the American Camping Association.

He served in the Air Force during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Aileen; his son, Gary of Seminole, Fla.; two daughters, Jane Levine Sanders of Portland, Ore., and Amy Wasserman of East Brunswick; and six grandchildren.

Services were held May 24 with arrangements by Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapels, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
