December book club is set

Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ and Rachel Coalition, the domestic violence division of JFS, will host a book club discussion on Tuesday, December 13, at 7 p.m. The second book to be featured in the new Book Club is “Vanishing Half” by Brit Bennett. The novel is about twin sisters, inseparable as children, who ultimately choose to live in two very different worlds, one black and one white.

Many popular books raise issues connected to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating abuse, and stalking. The goal is to engage community members to the work done at JFS & Rachel Coalition while providing education on domestic violence and other related topics.
