DEUTSCH-BOOKATZ

Nicole Deutsch, daughter of Marjorie and Eric Deutsch of Dallas, Texas, was married March 5, 2011, to Brian Bookatz, son of Barbara and Stephen Bookatz of Plano, Texas.

Rabbi Oren Hayon performed the ceremony at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas, Texas.

The bride is the granddaughter of Lillian and Eleazer Deutsch of East Brunswick and the late Jannette and Myer Zevin. The groom is the grandson of Selma Bookatz and the late Dr. Allan Bookatz and the late Bessie and Louis Silverman.

The new Mrs. Bookatz graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Spanish and history, and earned her master’s of education from Boston University. She teaches first grade at North Hills Preparatory in Irving, Texas.

Mr. Bookatz is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he earned his BA in cinema and television. He is employed by DG in Dallas.

The couple resides in Frisco, Texas.
