Dorothy Goldberg
Dorothy Goldberg, 60, of Silver Spring, Md., died April 25, 2011. Born in Pittsburgh, she grew up in Ambridge, Pa., and lived in Silver Spring since 1974 except for several years.
Mrs. Goldberg was a federal librarian before beginning to work in the Montgomery County (Md.) schools. For the last eight years, she was a special education para educator at Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, Md.
She had a BS in elementary education from Ohio University, Athens, and a master’s in library science from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.
She was a life member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her son, Alan, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bruce, formerly of Long Branch; and twin daughters, Julie and Marci Goldberg.
