Dorothy Robbins
Dorothy Meltzer Robbins, 97, of Ewing died Sept. 6, 2019. Born in Trenton, she lived in Ewing most of her life.
Mrs. Robbins was an evaluator for the New Jersey Department of Education, serving on the Scholarship Commission, for many years before retiring.
She attended the College of New Jersey in Ewing.
She was a member of Adath Israel Congregation in Lawrenceville and taught at its Sunday school.
A volunteer at Greenwood House, she was named its Woman of the Year in 1997.
Predeceased by her husband, Manning, she is survived by two sons, Richard and Steven; a daughter-in-law, Rachel; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 8 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House in Ewing.
