Dorothy Tankel
Dorothy Tankel, 100, of Newtown, Pa., died Aug. 27, 2018. Born in New York City, she grew up in Hamilton Township.
Mrs. Tankel graduated from Hamilton High School at the age of 16.
A poker, bridge, and mah jongg player, she was a lifelong Democrat with a keen interest in politics.
Predeceased by her husband of 74 years, David, she is survived by her son, Kenneth (Elizabeth); a sister, Julie; and two grandsons.
Services were held Aug. 28 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel.
