A daughter, Ava Violet (Chava Leah), to DRS. MELISSA and DANIEL BERLIN of Fair Lawn on Sept. 30, 2014. The maternal grandmother is Renee Rapoport of Ottawa. The paternal grandparents are Rimma and Gregory Berlin of Livingston. The maternal great-grandmother is Shirley Farber of Montreal. Ava Violet is named in memory of her maternal grandfather Dr. Avrum Rapoport.

Ava joins a brother, Ethan Dov, and a sister, Rachel Eve.
