Edna Bookspan
Edna Fishman Bookspan of Ewing, 99, died Nov. 29, 2013. She was originally from New Haven, Conn., and primarily resided in Trenton and Lake Worth, Fla.
Throughout her lifetime Mrs. Bookspan was involved in many charitable endeavors, including supporting and volunteering her time to the sisterhood of Har Sinai Temple and to the Trenton Jewish Community Center. In her later years she enjoyed working at the thrift shop of Ann’s Choice.
Predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Alexander, she is survived by her daughter, Meryl (Philip) Kauff; her son, Richard (Susan); three sisters, Helen Gross Sierles, Lillian Chasnoff, and Charlotte Schwartz; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Private services were held with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House, Ewing.
