Edward Plymack
Edward Plymack, 85, of Monroe Township died Nov. 3, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he resided there and had also lived in Clark and Boynton Beach, Fla.
Mr. Plymack was the chief executive and founder of Rondex Laboratories. He was a long-term executive of Purpac Pharmaceuticals, Elizabeth.
A pioneer in the generic pharmaceutical industry, he was an adviser to NJ Gov. Christine Todd Whitman and Rutgers School of Pharmacy.
He was a World War II veteran and Army photographer.
He was a founding member of Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah, Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marlene; his son, Michael of Oakton, Va.; his daughter, Ronda Taks of Westfield; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 11 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
