Emanuel A. Goldmunz, 87, of West Orange died July 6, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Pittsburgh before moving to West Orange in 1961.
Mr. Goldmunz was an executive at the telecommunications firm of Suburban Communications, Orange.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was active in the Jewish War Veterans.
He was a past commander of Sanford L. Kahn VFW Post and was involved in the Jewish Center of West Orange.
Predeceased by his son, Ian Jordan, in 1993, he is survived by his wife, Pearl (Mintzer); two daughters, Michelle of Fort Lee and Barbara of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Mark of Morris Plains; a sister, Rhoda Ralph of Rockville Center, NY; and a granddaughter.
Services were held July 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish War Veterans.
