Endorsing Webster
As a former West Orange councilman, I am sensitive to the needs of our residents and the tough choices being made by township officials in these challenging economic times. In my years of knowing, talking to, and debating Councilman Elnardo Webster Sr., he has shown me the leadership, wisdom, experience, and commitment our residents would appreciate.
Leadership is a quality, innately possessed, where one creates ways to motivate people into contributing toward a common goal: making something extraordinary happen. Councilman Webster is a proven leader who, although new to the public’s eye in West Orange, possesses the drive, vision, and experience required to control municipal costs while still maintaining the quality of life taxpayers expect and deserve. In his short tenure as a councilman, he has already contributed to delivering a zero budget increase and given his tenure with management in various school districts and being a former school superintendent, he has more than 30 years of experience in public government.
Significantly, Councilman Webster recognizes he cannot fulfill the task of taking West Orange into the future without assistance from the constituents, and he has pledged his commitment to work with the constituents of our township toward this effort.
I urge you to cast a vote of confidence for Councilman Webster, a candidate who is experienced at effective leadership and, as such, will be an asset to our township.
