Erving Katz
Erving Katz, 86, of South Orange died Aug. 12, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn.
Mr. Katz was an executive vice president of management information systems for Urban Development Corporation in New York state.
He attended Brooklyn Technical High School and Brooklyn College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Harriett, and his son, Seth of New York City.
Services were held Aug. 15 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
