Eugene Handler
Eugene Handler, 84, of Allentown died Nov. 9, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in West Virginia, Rahway, and Edison before moving to Allentown in 2002.
Mr. Handler was the executive director of Lighthouse Industries in Long Island City, NY.
He earned a bachelor in science degree from New York University. He was also a member of the International Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice “Bea” (Rosenberg); his daughter, Susan Wakefield of Edison; his son, Bruce of Glen Ridge; a brother, of Arthur of Long Island, NY; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 11 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
