Evelyn Percely
Evelyn Percely, 94, of Union died Aug. 22, 2013. Born in Newark, she grew up in Caldwell and lived in South Orange before moving to Union in 2002.
Ms. Percely was a bookkeeper for a meat-packing company in New York City for 40 years before retiring in 1982.
A life member of Hadassah, she was a member of Congregation Agudath Israel of West Essex in Caldwell for 70 years and the UFCW Local 174 in New York City.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Percely of Monroe Township; her nephew, David Percely; her niece, Alison Karl; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
Services were held Aug. 25 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
