Everett Felper
Everett Felper, 91, of West Orange died June 8, 2017. Born and raised in Springfield, Mass., he also had lived in Havertown, Pa.
Mr. Felper began his career in sales and marketing with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals while in Springfield, before relocating to Havertown and to West Orange, where he rose to upper management. In 1971, he became the founder and president of Everett Laboratories, Inc., where he developed his own line of therapeutic vitamins. His company was sold in 2012 and still sells many of the formulas he developed.
He graduated from Boston University in 1949.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He served on the board of Daughters of Israel in West Orange and his synagogue, Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in South Orange.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Harriet; three daughters, Terry Felper Giordano, Jamie Roth, and Margie Gorelick; a sister, Beverly Altman; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held June 11 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel or Barnabas Health Hospice.
