Exploring Yiddish in Clark

Dr. Paul “Hershl” Glasser continues a series, “Dress British, Think Yiddish,” an exploration of Yiddish language and culture, at Temple Beth O’r-Beth Torah of Clark on March 12 at 7 p.m. This week’s talk will cover the history and geography of Yiddish and its influence on English and on Judaism. Dr. Glasser holds a doctorate in linguistics from Columbia University and was a researcher and administrator at the YIVO Institute for 16 years.
