IN KEEPING WITH community health safety measures, JCC MetroWest’s New Jersey Jewish Film Festival, which was to have begun Thursday, March 19, at the JCC in West Orange, has been postponed.
As of March 15, the entire JCC facility has been closed.
The annual festival, said director Sarah Diamond, “was on track to be the most successful in its 20-year history. We appreciate the record support we had already received and, when the public health situation allows, we hope to make the wonderful selection of films available to our audiences.”
According to organizers, the tentative plan is to hold some screenings of the films on the festival lineup throughout the summer, with others to be shown in September and October. The sponsors’ dinner will be rescheduled for the fall as well. All purchased tickets will be exchangeable once new dates are confirmed.
