I read the very fine article written by Jill Garbi, “Fire destroys artworks by former Jerseyan,” (Dec. 8).

Thank you very much for sharing this story about Yoram Raanan, the tragedy of the fire in Israel and destruction of his studio, but also of the resilience he exhibits in the aftermath of the destruction.
