First annual JFCS Wheels for Meals

First annual JFCS Wheels for Meals

On Sunday, October 3, Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County invites the community to its first annual Wheels for Meals, a bike ride to fight hunger.

Now more than ever, there is a pressing need for food for local communities, where 1 in 10 people are food insecure. Funds raised through Wheels for Meals will support JFCS hunger prevention programs including the brick-and-mortar pantry; the two-vehicle mobile pantry fleet, which delivers a pantry experience to food insecure people all across the Greater Mercer community; the Kosher Café, which provides hot lunches to low-income seniors four days a week, and Kosher Meals on Wheels, which delivers weekly meals to homebound seniors.
