Florence Solomon
Florence Solomon (Tevelow), 94, of Elizabeth died March 11, 2016. Born and raised in Newark, she moved to Elizabeth in 1971.
Mrs. Solomon was an active participant with the Essex County chapter of AMIT-Mizrachi Woman’s Organization and a member of Jewish Educational Center of Elizabeth.
Predeceased by her husband, Harry, she is survived by her son, Jerry (Lori); her siblings, Rita and Paul; and three grandchildren.
Services were held March 13 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Circle of Livingston or Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled of West Orange.
