Frances Glass
Frances Glass (Schneiderman), 93, of Springfield died March 7, 2014. Born in Newark, she resided in Hillside before moving to Springfield in the 1970s.
Mrs. Glass was employed for many years as an office secretary for Newark Public Schools.
She was active in Temple Emanu-El, Westfield.
Predeceased by her husband, Fred, she is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Glass Davis of Cranford and Ruth Glass of Seattle; two sisters, Frieda Kowalsky of Livingston and Millie Bendavid of Chevy Chase, Md.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 9 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
