Event will feature inflatable bounce houses, kid’s rides and food and snacks; and a free t-shirt for all Walk participants

Holmdel, NJ – May 21st, 2017 – Friendship Circle of Central Jersey takes over the Vonage Corporate Center Great Lawn and Campus on Sunday, May 21st, to take a walk for friendship in support of children with special needs.

Join more than 1,500 men, women and children for the 9th annual Walk4Friends, where 100% of the proceeds go towards providing individuals with special needs, with social and educational experiences they would not otherwise have. From workshops to lectures to programs and parties, community support and involvement is critical to the success of Friendship Circle of Central Jersey programs and this fun family-friendly event is a great way to show support.

After the walk, participants and their families are invited to celebrate and enjoy a fun filled fair, complete with endless jumping entertainment on inflatable bounces, an assortment of rides, and an open vendor booth market. The excitement continues with an amazing performance Flippenout Productions. . Participants can refuel with a wide array of delicious food. We are also adding new this year a foam machine and petting zoo.

“Not only does the event create awareness of autism, Walk4Friends helps develop a strong sense of community, while showing support for special children and their families,” said the organization’s director Chana’Le Wolosow.

For the families involved in the Friendship Circle, Walk4Friends is a celebration of the work the organization does year round.  “When someone you love has autism, all you want for them is to be accepted, to be happy,” said, Vickie Eisen, whose son, Jake, has autism, “the Friendship Circle has done just that.”
