Frieda Levin
Frieda Levin (Rubin), 100, of Freehold died June 9, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Washington, DC, and Bethesda, Md., for 62 years before moving to Freehold in 2001.
Mrs. Levin was a budget analyst for 20 years with the Federal Power Commission, Washington, retiring in 1975.
She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a member of the Brandeis University Women’s Committee and Temple Israel of Silver Spring, Md.
Predeceased by her husband, Theodore Herzl Levin in 1985, she is survived by two daughters, Sheila Kremer of Lawrenceville and Babette Levin of Princeton; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 12 with arrangements by at Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapel, Rockville, Md. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Gaucher Foundation or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
