Meridee and Howard Katz of San Diego, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara, to Jeremy Geltman, son of Marcia and Lionel Geltman of Randolph.

Ms. Katz is a graduate of Boston College and received her MBA from San Diego State University. She is a senior product manager with Intuit.

Mr. Geltman, a graduate of Randolph High School, earned a degree in industrial design from University of Michigan. He is director of marketing for Aristotle International.

A Jan. 15, 2012, wedding is planned in Costa Rica.
