Harold B. Schnabel, 85, of Furlong, Pa., died Sept. 28, 2013. Born in New York City, he resided in Furlong for many years.
Mr. Schnabel was employed as a human resources and labor relations manager at Gould Battery Company, Gold Bond Corporation, National Gypsum Company, and The Wood School before retiring.
He was a graduate of Rider College, where he was a member of Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. He received his MA from Drexel University.
He was a member of SCORE and Corner Stone Health & Fitness Center and taught at a satellite campus of Penn State University.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; a sister, Paula Deitz; several nieces and nephews, Fred Deitz, Allen Deitz, William Corso, Roberta Herzl, Maxine Silberman, Alice Weiss, and Elizabeth Corso; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
Services were held Oct. 1 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Institute, Doylestown Hospital, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
