Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ offers services to older adults in Essex County to help them with money management, including balancing checkbooks and writing checks, organizing bills, budgeting monthly expenses, and applying for benefit programs to lower monthly expenses. The free JFSMW Money Management program is coordinated by Taylor Ruszczyk, run by trained volunteers, and funded by Essex County’s Division on Aging. Its goal is to help older adults continue living independently for as long as possible.
To enroll, you must be 60 or older, live in Essex County, and struggle to manage your finances. For more information, call Taylor Ruszczyk at (973) 637-1742 or email TRuszczyk@jfsmetrowest.org.
