Herman Tenenbaum
Herman Tenenbaum, 90, of Maplewood died Nov. 8, 2010. He was born in Newark.
Mr. Tenenbaum was a longtime co-owner of C. Tenenbaum Furniture Company of Ferry Street, Newark. He was a member of the first graduating class at Weequahic High School, Newark. He graduated from Temple University and earned his law degree from Rutgers University.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Workmen’s Circle and B’nai B’rith and volunteered in resettling Russian Jews.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Constance; his brother, Norman of New York City, and three generations of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Nov. 10.
