Homesick

Regarding Gabe Kahn’s Garden State of Mind, “When a house is no longer a home” (June 7), we sold my mom’s house recently, having had the home for 50 years. It was in South Orange; I spent many years there while I was single, moved on to college, got married, divorced, moved back home for another five years, and so on. It was extremely hard to part with things. I am 63 years old and it still feels like my home. Now the house is sold and I can never go home.
