Honoring first responders in Parsippany
Temple Beth Am and Congregation Adath Shalom held a joint Shabbat service at Temple Beth Am on June 27 to honor first responders. Cantor Bruce Ruben, Rabbi Moshe Rudin, and Cantor Avima Rudavsky Darnov conducted the service. The honorees were Parsippany Mayor James Barberio; Morris County Sheriff James Gannon; Kelly Sandler, representing Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carro; Parsippany Chief of Police Richard Pantina; Parsippany Community Relations Officer Remo D’ Allesandro; Officer Dan Ross, and Willie Tolba, representing Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill.
They were introduced by security committee co-chair Richard Hochman, Temple Beth Am board member Ellen Decker, security committee co-chair Neal Sturm, Adath Shalom Building and Grounds chair Beth Jarett, and security committee member Gary Reppen.
The first responders were lauded for their dedication, service, and commitment to protecting the members of the Jewish community and the surrounding communities.
