Howard Kronick
Howard E. Kronick, 86, of Cranford died Jan. 15, 2020. He grew up in Passaic and raised his family in Westfield.
Mr. Kronick served as a pharmacist in the U.S. Army as well as a retail pharmacist at the beginning of his career. He founded and ran Click Messenger Service for the next 35 years.
He graduated with a B.S. degree from Rutgers University’s School of Pharmacy.
He was a strong supporter of Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey, the JCC, and Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah in Cranford, as well as many veterans’ organizations.
He was an avid tennis player.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judith Shapiro Kronick; two sons, David (Emily Tetzlaff) and Drew (Kathleen); two daughters, Suzanne (Ken) Tunnell and Joan (Keith) Johnson; a sister, Lila Grob; and 11 grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 17 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Family Service of Central NJ or Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah.
