Howard Warmflash
Howard Warmflash, 82, of West Orange died May 25, 2011. Born in Newark, he resided in East Orange before moving to West Orange 56 years ago.
Mr. Warmflash was a men’s outerwear designer who worked for I. Spiewak & Sons, Inc.; McGregor; and the family business, L. Warmflash Associates, all in New York City, for many years before retiring in 1999.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was an active member of Congregation Beth El, South Orange, serving on the board of directors and as past president of the men’s club.
Predeceased by his wife, Leatrice (Greenman), he is survived by his son, Rabbi Philip of Elkins Park, Pa.; his daughter, Melissa Maister of Toronto; and six grandchildren.
Services were held May 26 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
