Hundreds attend Breakfast for Israel
Nearly 600 people attended the Jewish National Fund’s (JNF-USA) annual Breakfast for Israel held May 4 at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston. The event was cochaired by Jessica Abramovici, Andrew Bronsnick, Maida Richlin, and Rabbi Mendel Solomon.
“I am so proud of our community for their unwavering support of Israel and the work Jewish National Fund does every day on the ground to improve the lives of all Israelis,” said Central New Jersey board president Saul Sutton.
The event featured Prof. Alan Dershowitz who spoke about the current climate on college campuses with respect to Israel, the threat of a nuclear Iran, and the detriments of the anti-Israel BDS movement.
Jewish National Fund CEO Russell Robinson provided an update on the “Billion Dollar Roadmap for the Next Decade.” This campaign channels Jewish National Fund’s values for new ventures and calls for investments in a range of initiatives, including community building in Israel’s periphery, engaging the next generation, heritage preservation, work for individuals with special needs, and more.
