Hyman Metz
Hyman Metz, 89, of West Caldwell died April 7, 2016. He was born in Newark and raised in Rahway.
Mr. Metz worked for many years in the chemical field for several different companies, including Union Carbide.
He graduated from New York University in Manhattan and received his PhD from Purdue University in Indiana.
Predeceased by his wife, Shirley, he is survived by his daughter, Ellen (John) Bonnett of Caldwell, and his son, Eric of West Caldwell.
Services were held April 11 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
