Ida Kaplan
Ida Kaplan, 92, of Pompton Plains died Sept. 16, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, she lived there and in Lakehurst for many years as well as Delray Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Kaplan worked as a nurse at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, for 30 years.
She received her nursing degree from Brooklyn Jewish Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband, Bernard, in 1992, she is survived by three daughters, Marsha Golden of North Caldwell, Diane Pinckney of West Orange, and Hilary Weiss of Warren; her son, Michael of Edison; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 19 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
