Indiana researcher stops at historical society
Dr. Marin Minner recently visited the Jewish Historical Society of Greater MetroWest to examine records from its archive that highlight civic commemorations in the region and how Jews celebrated these events. They include congregational anniversaries and Holocaust remembrances. The native New Jerseyan traveled from Bloomington, Indiana, to visit the region’s archives to further his research.
The JHS holds 600 collections from synagogues, agencies, institutions, and personal papers. To schedule a visit, email the society’s archivist, Jill Hershorin, atjhershorin@jfedgmw.org or call (973) 929-2995.
