Iona Scott
Iona Scott (Salzhauer), 86, of Whippany died Dec. 25, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, she previously resided in Florida and Queens before moving to Whippany seven years ago.
Mrs. Scott was a special education teacher for grades three and five for 17 years in Queens before her retirement in 1982.
She earned a master’s degree.
She is survived by three sons, Edward of New Hampshire, Craig of Virginia, and Jordan of Cranford; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 28 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
