Irving B. Dubow
Irving B. Dubow, 88, of West Orange died Oct. 18, 2011.
Mr. Dubow was a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Corps during World War II, serving for over three years. He then became a special agent for the U.S. Treasury Criminal Investigation Unit, eventually becoming a supervisor. He then went on to work for the NJ State Division of Criminal Justice.
He was a Rutgers University graduate.
Among the organizations he was involved with were the Federal Investigators Criminal Association, the Jewish War Veterans, the American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of Police.
He is survived by his wife Maxine (Engle); his son, Alan of West Orange; two nieces, Marianne Barish and Lynne Friedman; and a grandniece and two grandnephews and their children.
Services were held Oct. 23 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
