Irving Roth
Irving Roth, 98, of New York City died June 23, 2016.
Mr. Roth founded Argraph Corporation, an international supplier of photographic equipment.
He served in World War II as an Army reconnaissance photographer. He was an original tenant with other World War II veterans in Manhattan’s Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village.
He was a 60-year member of East End Temple in Manhattan.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Shirley; two sons, Mark (Suzanne) of Montclair and Andrew (Kathy) of South Orange; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 26 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Maplewood. Memorial contributions may be made to American Jewish Committee.
