Isabel Lepzelter

Isabel “Honey” Bloomfield Lepzelter, 98, of Westfield died Feb. 13, 2016. Born in Pittsburgh, she raised her family in Uniontown, Pa., before moving to Aventura, Fla. She lived in Florida for 22 years and summered in Bradley Beach before moving to Westfield 20 years ago.

Mrs. Lepzelter belonged to the Senior Group of the JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains and The Friendship Club of Temple Emanu-El of Westfield and worked throughout her life for many charitable organizations. 

Predeceased by her first husband, Albert Bloomfield, in 1967, and her second husband, Harry Lepzelter, in 1991, she is survived by her son, Les (Shirley) Bloomfield of Key Biscayne, Fla.; her daughter, Barbara (Marty) Ostroff of Summit; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. 

Services were held Feb. 14 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to JCC of Central NJ or Metropolitan Jewish Hospice.
