Isabel Tabatchnick
Isabel Tabatchnick (Charles) of Basking Ridge died March 19, 2013.
An artist, Mrs. Tabatchnick created a symbolic tapestry for the Cooperman JCC in West Orange, where it currently hangs. She also painted and created wood cuts and drawings. She also ran a business, the Westfield Diet plan, for many years.
Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Seymour, in September 2012, and a daughter-in-law, Debbie, she is survived by four sons, Justin (Norma) of Pollack Pines, Calif., Ben (Rita) of Randolph, Larry of Fayetteville, NC, and Joe (Lin) of Millburn; a brother, Irving Charles of California; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 20 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
