Nearly 250 people attended Israel Bonds Metropolitan NJ’s annual Spectacular Gala at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The gala honored three members of the community for their efforts to help the State of Israel: Debbie Janoff received the Women’s Division Golda Meir award, Dr. Jill Schwartz and Dr. Eric Sacks of the Health Professionals division received the Maimonides award, and Marty Statfeld of the Commerce & Industry division got the Shimon Peres Leadership award.
Awards were presented after an outdoor cocktail reception. The Metro NJ leadership also honored their longtime general chairman, Howard Cohen, who is stepping down after many years of dedicated service. Larry Rothenberg is Israel Bonds Metropolitan NJ’s general chairman elect and Roy Tanzman is the campaign chairman.
