Jasha L. Glasser, 89, of Cedar Grove died Jan. 9, 2011. He was born in Albany, NY, lived in New York City, and relocated to Cedar Grove 49 years ago.
Dr. Glasser was a supervising veterinarian for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He was a graduate of Middlesex University in Waltham, Mass., where he received his doctorate in veterinary medicine.
He was a Mason and a member of Temple Beth Tikvah of Wayne and the Cedar Grove Environmental Committee.
He is survived by his wife, Claire (Skaletzky); two sons, Marc of Millington and Ted of Jacksonville, Fla; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 13 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Barnabas Hospice in West Orange or Temple Beth Tikvah.
